And of course Traindame and her fellow Traingineers will be here all day enjoying fellowship time with all YOU phenomenal Ferroequinologists!!!!!
Whew!!!!! Catching my breath now and mind boggled that I didn’t post a peep on my blog in July – YIKES!!!
Below is a sentiment I’ve stated out loud at least 10 times (if not more) over the past 6 weeks…
“So wish I could be in two places at one time… or realistically… more like 5 places at once!”
I have been fortunate to be in a hopping travel mode with the Traingineers as we’ve been serving clientele from the West Coast – Thousand Oaks, California, on into the Mid West – Indianapolis, Indiana and Chilicothe, Ohio… and just when I think it can’t get any better… it does!
There are so many wonderful “Train Nuts” across this great country of ours, who are really some of the most “traintastic” (Traindame word) people we not only have the opportunity to produce layouts/product for but (*Added Bonus*) we also enjoy time making wonderful memories and experience INCREDIBLE fellowship with truly EXTRAORDINARY people!!
I was pondering the best way to get my past six weeks experience across to you and decided to put together a couple of Traindame Photo Collages:
But wait… before the collage, a shameless selfie first 🙂
Traindame & the Traingineers… completion of day #4 of California custom layout installation:

Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder’s Meeting
May 3, 2014
Omaha, Nebraska USA
What an Absolutely “TrainTASTIC” trip I had with the Traingineers at this year’s Berkshire Hathaway meeting!! I especially enjoyed meeting with Mr. Buffett again and having the incredible opportunity to spend time with him and really appreciated his genuine pleasure to take pictures with the TW Traingineers along with our special guest, Lionel’s VP of Marketing – Mike Phillips. Check out all the smiles…
I was standing on the other end of the table while Mr. Buffett was talking with Mr. Rose from BNSF, and the question arose from Mr. Buffett the desire to have an even bigger layout next year and I chimed in.. “We’d love to design an additional section to your layout!! So… shhhhh don’t tell anybody, totally UNOFFICIAL, but perhaps Roger will soon be in BNSF Layout Addition Design Mode and that would be SOOOOO COOOOOOL!!
SET UP:
SHOWTIME!
I can pretty much sum up the conversation (in truncated sentences) around the BNSF Layout during the event…
“Wow!”
“This is UNBELIEVABLE!”
“Fantastic”
“Amazing!”
“What a display”
“Really, I can run the trains?”
“Great job!”
“Look…. !”
“Totally Fabulous”
“You guys do amazing train layouts!”
“AWESOME!!!”
Two upcoming dates to save on YOUR calendar!
#1. May 17th, 2014 – TrainWorx Showroom Store open from 10 to 4
#2. September 27, 2014 – TrainWorx 3rd Annual Layout Festival
The first month of 2013 finds the Traingineers with two residential tables on the floor in various stages and at last count… we’re getting ready for six new projects to hit the floor in the first quarter of this year! What’s really cool are the states represented in those six proposals; Alaska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska & Georgia.
It’s almost our one year anniversary in our new location in South East Dallas and what a year it’s been! To have had BNSF be the very first layout built at 2808 McGowan Street certainly set the bar for our Traingineers and I continue to be amazed with the level of expertise they pour into each layout. The results keep getting better and better as does the fun and enjoyment from doing what we love to do.
Enjoy some pictures of the past year with both finished work and process shots…
Be sure to check out the new page I added to my blog: Working on the RailRoad where I will be posting pictures of projects in the shop on a weekly basis. Also, we are in the process of updating the TW TrainWorx website as last year we added over a half dozen new products to our TrainWorx line and all of them have yet to be included in our cyber store. That would be a bad case of me not keeping up with our talented Chief Traingineer who always has something popping out of his brain to become a product for YOU!
Here is a list of new product we added in 2012:
Albuquerque Station
Pennsylvania Station
Temple HO Station
Wooden RailRoad Table
B57 Bridge Kit
Christmas Ornament
Lionelville Dealer Display
