TrainWorx in Classic Toy Trains!

Roger Carp with Classic Toy Trains wrote a bang up article in the January 2012 Issue of Classic Toy Trains, actually – don’t take my word for it – check out the article for yourself and let me know what you like best about it! —> MAG-CTT-JAN12 <— It’s a great read and there are great pictures to go along with the article photographed by Carl Swanson.

Below are a series of shots taken on site while the Traingineer’s were installing Mr. Smith’s magnificent layout:

Traindame

Kudos to Roger Farkash!

Congratulations to TrainWorx Chief Traingineer, Roger Farkash who was presented this award by the president of the LCCA, recognizing his outstanding service and leadership in his liaison role with the LCCA Junior Member Program!

We need to find a special spot on our testimonial wall for this plaque and the letter below! This Traindame is extremely proud of her guy 🙂

I love this letter Roger received in the mail today from a fellow LCCA Member… Enjoy!

2011 LCCA Convention

What a great convention the LCCA put on last week for the members of the Lionel Collectors Club of America! They had Tours, Seminars, Boy Scouts earning Merit Badges, Lionel toy trains running on the Lionel layout (designed by Roger and crafted by TrainWorx Traingineers), a swap meet with gobs of train related goodies and wonderful folks from around the country, and of course the LCCA store where bargain after bargain was to be found.

Roger and I attended the banquet Saturday night and it being my first one… was a real treat! The silent auction was a lot of fun, dinner was delicious, and being with train enthusiasts…well – it was truly a traintastic evening!

Monday evening Roger conducted one of the Seminars – How to Carve Mountains for Your Layout and word on the ground was it was extremely well recieved. Check out the “Behind the Scenes” video I made…

This was the first time Roger and I were side-by-side working a train event. We were selling TrainWorx Bridges faster than the #88 NASCAR Driver whirling around the Texas Motor Speedway 🙂 Some pictures of the fun…

TrainWorx – LCCA Open House

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

We had a very successful open house July 29, 2011 which coincided with the LCCA Convention that took place in Dallas, Texas. It was great to see old friends and especially exciting to make new friends with members of the LCCA! The chocolate chip cookies we baked were a big hit – yummy!

This was the first TrainWorx open house we put on and from the feedback I received we absolutely will be conducting more events like this in the near future!  A plus for me was hearing great product ideas, from our guests, of what they’d like to see incorporated into our TrainWorx product line. Be on the lookout…you’ll be seeing new product offerings in August 2011!

Our guests had the opportunity to see our Traingineers in action with two custom train layouts in various stages of coming together, our Landmark Series *Chicago Union Station Model, as well as several bridge kits that were put together and later displayed on our table during the LCCA Swap meet.

Happy Tracks!
